ENDLESS SEA OF GOLDEN ASPEN GROVES & ROCKY MOUNTAIN VIEWS

We have chosen peak times to chase the spectacular fall scenery. From dancing Aspen trees straight out of a Dr. Seuss book to incredible waterfalls that plunge into a narrow gorge full of color, you’ll find yourself among many hidden gems in the ever changing enchantment of autumn. You will be guided to our favorite Aspen groves & Rocky Mountain views where we will spend our days meandering about under a canopy of color held up by rows of white Aspen tree trunks as far as the eye can see.

DAY 1

Meet & Greet,  Mountain Peaks & Aspen Groves

Our workshop starts with a meet and greet session at 2:00 pm in Telluride, CO. We'll dive right into one of the best spots to capture the iconic fall colors of Colorado. We’ll take the backroads to our first location completely surrounded by Rocky Mountain peaks and a 360° view of endless Aspen groves full of golden yellows.

DAY 2

Iconic Aspen Trees, Editing Class & Waterfalls

We’ll start our morning, photographing the iconic curvy Aspen trees in Colorado! After an amazing morning of shooting, we will head into the digital darkroom to learn the processing of your images. After, we’ll head out to an incredible waterfall that plunges into a narrow gorge full of color for a sunset/twilight shoot.

DAY 3

Sunrise and Exploring Aspen Groves

There is no better way to start your day than being surrounded by fall colors and the Rocky Mountains. After catching some sunrise goodness, we will spend the day exploring and photographing our favorite aspen groves and Rocky Mountain views. We’ll then take a short break before heading out to photograph for sunset/twilight.

Iconic Fall Locations and Editing Class

Another iconic Colorado fall location! Afterward, we’ll head back for a quick break and lunch, then our last classroom session. This class will focus on answering any specific editing questions you may have and is tailored to improving your specific editing needs and goals. After class, we’ll round up our camera gear for our last sunset/twilight shoot.

Last Sunrise and Farewell

We’ll start our last day off early with one last sunrise before heading back to answer any final questions and say our goodbyes. After an amazing week of capturing the fall colors of Colorado with other incredible photographers, you’ll not only walk away with an unforgettable experience, but a group of photographers you call your tribe.

We've got you covered with our top-notch off-road capable vehicles and expert guides on an adventure to the iconic Crystal Mill. You can roam around, snap amazing photos, and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring history of this legendary mill. We'll stick around until nightfall, capturing the sunset and the magical blue hour. This is an unforgettable experience that will have you feeling like a rockstar in the rugged wilds of Colorado. 

ADD-ON DAY 2

Get ready to embark on a wild ride through the Rocky Mountains on a narrow gauge train that's bursting with more colors than a rainbow! We'll hop off the train for a quick disappearing act, as it backs up and magically reappears just in time for epic photo ops. It's like witnessing a historical steam train doing a time-traveling jig through the breathtaking autumn foliage, with the magnificent San Juan Mountains serving as the ultimate Insta-worthy backdrop.

ADD-ON DAY 3

Finally, we arrive at the foot of this jaw-dropping peak, ready to witness nature's grandeur. It stands tall like a boss, overshadowing the groves of amber aspen trees. This place is perfect for a photo op, where you can capture the whole shebang or take a leap back into the aspen grove forest for some up-close shots. Just imagine the vibrant autumn hues sprinkled among those white tree trunks—like a never-ending fashion show in the woods!

We're talking an epic editing session where each instructor will spill their secrets and show you how to turn your photos into masterpieces. And the best part? You get to kick back, relax, and soak it all in because we're recording everything for you to binge-watch at your leisure.
