ITINERARY
This Itinerary is subject to change as with any landscape photography adventure weather plays an important role in our shoots.
-
Day 1 – Meet in Brookings, OR: We’ll meet at noon in Brookings for lunch, gear checks and an overview of the days ahead. In the afternoon we’ll photograph at a secluded cove full of sea stacks.
-
Day 2 – Forest Light and Costal Cliffs: If morning fog looks promising we explore the massive old growth redwood forests, capturing sunlight through the canopy. If not, we focus on a morning editing session. After lunch, we will regroup for our sunset shoot atop a bluff overlooking a giant natural arch.
-
Day 3 – Flexible Morning & Rocky Shoreline: Morning plans will again be based off of fog in the redwoods. We will head out for a sunset shoot on a broad beach dotted with sea stacjs and lively tidepools full of starfish. Optional night shoot if clouds cooperate.
-
Day 4 – New Comp, Who Dis?: Again the morning stays flexible as before. Afternoon return to our first hidden beach for a fresh take. Where you get the chance to show us the skills you've learned during the workshop, creating your own unique composition.
-
Day 5 – Wrap up and Departure: You’ll have the Airbnb until 10 AM, with time to ask final questions, review edits, or simply relax before heading home.
