CADDO LAKE FALL COLORS
BEWITCHING WATERS OF THE TEXAS BAYOU
Float the waterways through flooded forests of looming cypress trees decorated with crimson autumn foliage and swaying spanish moss. Head on down south to the bewitching waters of the Texas Bayou. Great blue herons and snowy egrets sail through the treetops posing gracefully for a moment to be photographed. This mesmerizing swamp land provides endless compositional possibilities, it is quite literally a photographers playground.

TRIBE SIZE
Limited to a small group of 6 students with 2 instructors to ensure that everyone receives 1:1 attention.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL
This photography workshop is open to all experience levels, from beginner to advanced all are welcome.
HIKING
This workshop will require minimal physical fitness, however you will be paddling in a canoe with a partner.

DAY 1
Meet and Greet, Sunset & Twilight
...
Our workshop begins with a meet & greet at Caddo Lake State Park, followed by a discussion on the agenda for the week. We'll then head out to explore some of the lake's iconic locations, including the mesmerizing bald cypress trees. We'll spend the evening capturing the sunset and blue hour from the water's edge
DAY 2
Sunrise, Classroom, Sunset & Twilight
...
We'll start our day early, venturing out to photograph the golden morning light as it illuminates the lake's serene landscape. We'll then take a short break before heading to our classroom session, where we'll discuss post-processing techniques and refining our landscape photographic skills. In the evening, we'll grab our paddles and and head back out for sunset and twilight photography.
DAY 3
Sunrise, Classroom, Sunset & Twilight

Our day starts before sunrise as we make our way to one of the most picturesque locations at Caddo Lake. We'll capture the flooded forest during sunrise, before heading back for another editing classroom session. In the evening, we'll explore the lake's surroundings and photograph our favorite locations during sunset and twilight.
DAY 4
Sunrise, Classroom, Sunset & Twilight

We'll start our day early with a sunrise at a new location that promises to take your breath away. We'll then head back for a quick lunch break, followed by a classroom session on answering specific editing questions tailored to your needs and goals. In the evening, we'll round up our camera gear for our last sunset/twilight shoot.
DAY 5
Sunrise & Wrap Up

We'll start our last morning early with one last sunrise shoot before heading back to answer any final questions. We'll wrap up our amazing time over breakfast before saying our final goodbyes.

Before we hit the ground running, we'll have a virtual rendezvous on Zoom. Trust us, we're like ninjas when it comes to photography, and we only have one shot (pun intended) to capture the perfect shots. So, we want to make sure you're well-equipped and ready to rock 'n' roll!

We're talking an epic editing session where each instructor will spill their secrets and show you how to turn your photos into masterpieces. And the best part? You get to kick back, relax, and soak it all in because we're recording everything for you to binge-watch at your leisure.

ALL BOAT TRANSPORTATION
A majority of this workshop will be spent on a boat or canoe. All Canoe rentals and boat rental fees are included.
